The Demand Rate is the sum of the Demand Charges (Energy Charge) and the Standing Charge.
+ portion of units above 125 units x $ 0.47
Standing Charge is structured as follows:
Charge = $ 7.20 Consumption up to 120 units:
Charge = $12.00 Consumption above 120 units up to 250 units:
Charge = $18.00 Consumption above 250 units
Demand Rate = Energy Charge + Standing Charge
Commercial Rate
This applies to all customers who operate a business as part of or all of the electricity consumed.
The Commercial Rate is the sum of the Commercial Charges (Energy Charge) and the Standing Charge.
The Demand Charge is structured as follows:
For the first 50 x kVA units: cost = $ 0.52 /unit
For the next 75 x kVA units: cost = $ 0.50 /unit
For the next 125 x kVA units: cost = $ 0.48 /unit
For the remaining units: cost = $ 0.44 /unit
Energy Charge = portion of units in the first 50 x kVA units x $ 0.52
+ portion of units in the next 75 x kVA units x $ 0.50
+ portion of units in the next 125 x kVA units x $ 0.48
+ portion of units above 250 units x $ 0.44
Standing Charge (based on cost per kVA = $13.20) where 1 kVA = 250 units
Commercial Rate = Energy Charge + Standing Charge + ** Fuel Surcharge
