Dear Valued Customers,<\/p>\n

As you are aware, the price of fuel has been increasing over the last several months and this is likely to continue.<\/p>\n

In an effort to minimize the impact on our customers, NEVLEC introduced a cap on the Fuel Surcharge for the months of June, July and August of 2021.<\/p>\n

However, in order to pay our fuel suppliers, Nevlec has implemented a moving average approach which resulted in the cost being charged to consumers to offset the rise in fuel prices.<\/p>\n

Eventually, the costs to NEVLEC would be recovered at a lower rate when fuel prices start to decrease.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, we are encouraging customers to conserve electricity by practicing the following:<\/p>\n
