Nevis Electricity Company Limited (NEVLEC) proudly announces the deployment of three skilled team members to Jamaica to assist with restoration efforts following the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa.

On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Resean Maynard, Emergency Supervisor, accompanied by Linesmen – Lyman Laville and Shemar Munroe, departed Nevis to join other regional efforts to rebuild Jamaica’s electrical grid in affected communities.

This mission reflects NEVLEC’s unwavering commitment to regional solidarity and mutual support during times of crisis. Our team brings not only technical expertise but also a spirit of compassion and resilience. This is a reinforcement of our shared strength of Caribbean unity.
