The Nevis Electricity Company Limited (NEVLEC) proudly participated in the 5th Edition of the Nevis Youth Careers Expo (NYCE). This event was held on Friday, March 6th 2026, at the Nevis Cultural Village from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Expo continues to be a vital platform for inspiring and guiding the island’s youth toward meaningful career paths.

At its booth, NEVLEC displayed a wide range of tools used daily by the technical staff in the Generation and Transmission & Distribution Departments, giving students a hands-on look at the equipment behind reliable electricity service. Informational brochures were also available, covering topics such as safety tips, understanding your electricity bill, conservation best practices, career opportunities at NEVLEC, and ePay registration. Additionally, an educational video demonstrated key processes involved in power generation; offering attendees a deeper appreciation of the science and teamwork behind electricity supply.
